“There’s gold in them there hills,” is a phrase that was coined in the mineral rich hills of north Georgia. Learners will visit the Dahlonega Gold Museum to discover the history of our country’s first gold rush, explore an authentic mine deep underground, then learn how to pan for gold and gems just like the miners did at the turn of the century.
